This book takes you on a cinematic ride as it reminds you how we are stewards of the resources God has given us, and by failing to manage them, we do in fact rob God. Having moved away from the South, I found the many references to Waffle House, canned meats, and Southern Rock were making me pine to be back around the Georgia pines I grew up amongst. I would love it if this became a movie some day. It could easily appeal to both secular folks and Christians. My aethiest roommate is going to read my copy!Product details

The God Robbers is a very well-written and thoroughly entertaining book. Gene Jennings develops his characters masterfully and takes the reader on a journey that is both engaging and touching. As I read The God Robbers, I felt as though I were a part of the story being told and could not wait to find out what was around the next bend. Mr. Jennings' southern heritage and years in the ministry are evident in the pictures he paints. The characters and the story told feel genuinely authentic. Although I felt Mr. Jennings concluded his story wonderfully, I did not want the book to end. I highly recommend reading The God Robbers and I hope that Mr. Jennings will continue to use his Christ centered heart and unique writing style to take readers on similarly compelling and convicting journies.

Gene knocks it out of the ball park in his work "The God Robbers"! He is truly a gifted writer.
Stimulated my faith for God to move again mightily by His Spirit and for us to do our our part to position ourselves to permit God to have His way.
Easy read and hard to put down. The author does a great job of establishing the background of each character. He exposes their sins and evil desires. Many twists and turns with an inspiring ending. Written a lot like the novels of John Grisham.
I loved this book.
It made me think about how our church may appear to people outside of church, and to people seeking.
Do I put God first? Am I letting distractions rob our relationship?
Nice one.
A very good book.....without giving the story away, I'd say that Rev. Jennings captured exactly what goes on in many churches, people's lives and what would happen if we allowed the Holy Spirit to come back into our churches. Thank you for a very good read as well as reminder that I need to be on my knees more.
